Re: Re: [microsound] A remark about the list
How many times did you contradict yourself int this post? Come on ask
yourself. Be objective.
No, pressing your own CD is not cheap. Not for me. I make about $400 a
month. For real. I had to take my friends pop bottles back tto buy a cup of
coffee this morning. I'm not looking for pity. I'm telling you I don't have
enough money to press my own CD. Even if I did, I wouldn't do it. The only
reason to "press" CD's is to make them look like they're done professionally.
Fuck that. That's what I'm trying to avoid in the first place.
Why don't you do a little experiment. Quit your job and get another one at a
restauraunnt or cafe. Then make CD's worth of music and try and promote it and
sell it yourself, and get gigs. See if you can juggle that. Then tell me that
music that isn't produced proessionally ("pressed") isn't even worth listening
to.
Why don't you get lost, unless you enjoy being inflammatory.
