-well there r a couple of great cdr labels around. as u mentioned alku, =
sagita, fancing flatworm, pale_mother, synthetic waste=20
or maybe staalplaat, touch and also raster noton have cdr series.
some realy great mp3 labels are also working: thinner (they have also =
one cdr release), autoplate (sublabel of thinner), stasisfield (also =
have 1 cdr release)
-the reason why im releasing on cdr (www.acidfake.tk): yes it is price =
of printing regular cds and quantity that can be minimum 500. from this =
perspective i can not sell so much and if i get enought money out of =
cdrs i wound definitely continue in relesing regular cds with same =
music. cause it is choosen careffuly
that means that i ilke to release this music on regular cds now.=20
-also im carrying much about design of the releases cause thats the =
second important thing after music.=20
-and about the price it is the lowest price so i can just cover money =
spent on material (from 5 to 7 eur).=20
if the cover is coloured itll be more expencive casue colour print is =
more expencive and im not printing myself.=20
and as i can see on what price other labels sell their releases they r =
like 8 or more eur
-why not buy music on cdr. same as to buy on cd. also u can not find it =
on regular. that is reason more.=20
and yes, it is a new way of releasing and colecting music. just like =
tapes, 7"s, cds, now mp3s... new culture=20
also there r some releases that are mp3 releases on cdr.. thats is one =
dimension higher. some combination between cdr and mp3 label
-the other reason is distribution. if u sell all copies u can make more. =
-there r some regular labels releasing realy stupid music so medium is =
not the measure
-and at last music we release is not so comercial so u can sell 500 =
copies with price of 25 euros=20
if not other it is a good start in checking out audience and market
> So, I'd be interested in hearing what the list thinks. Is CDR =
publishing a

should it

price
