Hi Frede. I have heard some say contrariwise. CDRs should last just as
long as glass mastered cds, if not longer, provided they are taken care
of. For those who tend to leave their discs on the dashboard of their car
or slide discs around on table tops like coasters, will find that they
damage easiler under such conditions. So, if a cdr label is mindful of
this fact in their packaging, I would say that for audiophiles, cdrs are
quite on par with archival purposes.
By the way, I really like the mp3 (on your site) entitled "a single
moment". You informed the list about more recently. Nice
work.
