Hello,
Please pardon my complete ignorance on this topic, but why would a
CD sound better than a CDR? With proper error correction codes, etc,
shouldn't the data contained on both be exactly the same? I.e., both are
at the core 16 bit, 44100 kHz streams of numbers. A CDR doesn't, for
example, have a greater bit depth. If the above is true, then
it's really the D-A conversion of the sound system that's driving the
show. By my (obviously wrong somewhere) logic, they should sound
exactly the same. So where am I wrong?
