Goga-

You might be able to accuse Kim of running a store on the Internet, but
I hardly think that equates to a "21st Century" idea of Capitalism,
whatever that is.

Definition of the "C" word isn't easy, but for those who want to argue,
I might suggest reading Braudel's exploration of the term in volume 2 of
his book _Civilization and Capitalism_, starting on page 232. Otherwise,
I think you'll be blowing in the wind. (Braudel's available at most
libraries...)

That said, I do think there's argument over what level of organization
certain economic activities might have:

Cultural production is one that could thrive in a very Anarchist format,
knit into the age old barter economy, where we could all perform at pubs
for beers.

But the very toxic production of computer hardware suggests it's current
global level of organization, which at least offers a hope that
technology will address these impacts. Environmentally safe methods
simply cost too much for back-yard chip production.

Best,

Tad
