Re: [microsound] futurismo!

I heard a story this morning that I found kinda funny.
some US official was giving a press conference recently
and a french reporter asked him some snotty question about
iraq. out of character, the official went on the offensive
and asked the reporter if he spoke german.

"no" replies the reporter

the official simply answers with "you're welcome"

yes I was...although I do not condone violence or war for
any reason (except
in self-defense when all else fails) and I'm sure there is
a lot of
propaganda around america's role in WWII I will go out on a
limb here and
say that had america *not* been involved that europe would
be a very
different place today...I will also say that it was america
that carried out
the post-war union busting under the title of the Marshall
Plan as a way to
thwart the development of socialism in europe...

rather than debate this with you I'll let an expert outline
fascism for
you...sound familiar?

"Fascism should rightly be called Corporatism as it is a
merge
of state and corporate power."
    - Benito Mussolini

"Fascism conceives of the State as an absolute, in
comparison
with which all individuals or groups are relative, only to
be conceived in
their relation to the State."
       - Benito Mussolini
