....Italian fascism was created
by taking the religious sturcture of catholicism and turning it into a
political ideology.  

....fascism in Italy was a lot of things...it was a re-mix of socialism,
marxism, catholicism, futurism ...a lot of confusion... it was easy to find
in the italian houses of the 1920 portraits of Jesus between Marx Garibaldi
and Bakunin (that is the origin of the problem of the divisions of the left
in Italy)...I always  think that it was just ignorance at the power....as
today is...!!!
