In the end, it is the responsibility of the leader of the country to
play ball or get off the playing field.  We placed old Sodom there, yes,
to keep other creeps in check.  Now we need to remove him.  Simple case
of geopolitics and US interest.

On Karzai and Afghanistan's situation, I've heard nothing about it.  I'm
surprised the rabid ones haven't brought this out to the forefront
earlier.  If this is true, it is bad, period.

Said I have read, and he seems reasonable.  Fisk is a fool.  And right
now, I have little interest to read French, despite my like for the
culture.

then told that 35 million of it has to go for the building of a luxury=20
hotel in Kabul.  There's caring for you.  Remove oppressive=20
dictatorships and replace them with capitalized impoverishment and then=20
try to call it "progress" with a straight face.

Too much Chomsky?  Try Said, Pilger, Fisk, Monbiot.  God forbid anything

but CNN, Fox TV, or any of the networks for that matter.
