I dont think you opinion is so stupid. At this point in time it is 
simply impossible to know anything about what is really going on.

I just saw an interview on finnish TV with some exiled iraqiis and they 
basically just watched the pictures from all the news channels. The 
sound turned off. They didnt trust a word no matter who said it, they 
only trusted what they could see with their own eyes in the pictures.

For us in the western world - the best we can do presently is watch 
those same pictures closely and raise hell on the streets if we see 
bombing or other violence against iraqii civilians. And (much harder) 
to watch out so that it is the iraqii people that get to choose their 
next government - not Bush, Rumsfeld & Co.
