Re: [microsound] Project Proposal: The Matrix-wewoaded

The Matrix Deluded - saw it today, and the music is truly horrible,
banal Burundi drums, and victory/triumph themes mixed with ?? techno.
"Calm as the bomb" ??

"The world is burning while we are churnng." iieeee!

God awful. The movie itself, not to flog a dead horse, promotes "Zion,"
equates it with humanity, and serves this whole bogus thing in a
confusion of chiche and stylized war crap. I think it is preparing the
young to believe it when we have to fight China or all the "bruins" in
the world who don't march with toes in a line. After hearing here of the
Neo vs Architect throwdown, I was let down. The lady or the
whole-of-humanity plus the borg. Woof woof. Gosh you corn fed prisones
of shopping malls, revolt and take your woman. Rise, victory theme.

The reason I have not replied to the Matrix project (I don't remember
anyone replying to other ones) was that it seemed like a new level of
technology I was not prepared to deal with yet. It is a good idea, the
music of the film just reeks, and certain sounds might change certain
covert meanings. I did not intend to dismiss the project by trying to
get interest in Convoy Of Death, just a comment. I can pursue that.

I did try twice to use hotwire to dl the files (I had not yet seen the
film) but was unable to connect to those numbers.
