Thanks Ian and Monsieur Jarboe. I am familiar with EA diffusion. I was
just wondering if Parmegiani was doing something other than what I had
suspected. I have performed with several cd players at once (primitive
laptop?) while utilizing an invented instrument (no effecting other than
EQ, fades, panning), and am curious about diffusion methods I haven't
tried yet. The only times I've used only one player has been with
phonographer groups, where I was mixing various field recordings with
other people's field recs within the groups. Sort of like live musique
concrete, but without processing. Thanks also for the Harrison article. I
had not seen it before.
