On a similar note, a friend of mine took his bands CD and made numerous 
stickers to go on the cover.  Lies included, "voted number one artist of 
the year by Billboard magazine", "brutal metal assault with members of 
Pantera" and "hot new ska band from orange county".  The CD was sold at 
cost in a handful of local stores who were willing to put it in every 
section of the store with appropriately inaccurate stickers on the 
front.  I'm not sure if it's subversive, but an aweful lot of people got 
an album they weren't expecting....
