yeah, i was thinking about those mission impossible self-destructing
messages... this cd will terminate itself in 5 seconds...
actually i like the minidisc idea. i use them a lot, and i'm definitely
not what you would call a purist.
the only thing is that it would drastically diminish the number of
people that would be able to listen to it.
on the other hand, MDs are much more versatile.
instead of just adding a track each time,
a further idea could be this: once heard, the person chooses just
one track to delete, replacing it with his own.
so this eversharing object becomes everchanging and the information
gets lost in an arbitrary way.
each time a person listens to the object, the experience is unique and
it also involves an act of responsibility.
still, one should somehow believe in human beings
doing things correctly...
