Just out of curiosity, is there a reason why we use Hotline instead of
something like FTP, which is generally more cross-platform and standard,
and for which the clients tend to be a lot less bloated and don't
contain spyware (as does 1.9, so I'm told)?

Hi. I'm having trouble connecting to the hotline server - using win2k
with
hotline 1.9.1, it logs in and all, then complains about a component
missing
and shuts the program down. Tried uninstalling, downloading install and
installing again, no joy.

While I try and sort this out, could someone send me the impulse file
(offlist) ?

Cheers
