Thanks for the insight. Sorry for inadvertantly pointing people to a pirated copy, I had assumed they were some sort of non-profit with permission. I'll be looking for a legitimate version, FWIW.
 
Thought you might also like to know that I saw The Flicker as part of a lecture about the film at the Getty Research Institute in Los Angeles by Branden Joseph of UC Irvine. In case you didn't kow about that event...
 
I thought the film and sound were quite beautiful.
