Think about it this way...

Independant Dance Producers want (and beg) DJs to play their records far and wide.

Only a few bastards would ever think of suing over it in a vain attempt to get paid.

Corporate Music, out of habit mostly, would issue special DJ editions with licenses and sue the hell out of anyone else who spins their tunes.

Many, or even most DJs, would be afraid of being sued and avoid playing music from major labels.

Major label sales would plummet and indie dance music would take over.

This way only labels with the resources can afford the legal manuvering to release mixes. (look at the hell 2 many DJs went through to legally put out theirs)

This way only major labels can afford to release mixes.

I get so angry sometimes...
