[microsound] Sao Paulo

Hi all,

I'm off to Sao Paulo, Brazil for a few days next Friday (23rd January) - just 
wondering if anybody knows of any record labels/record shops/venues/people 
involved in electronic music down there ? All I know about the place is what 
I've read in the Rough Guide.

If anybody has been there : is it really as randomly violent as people would 
have you believe ? I get the feeling its all a little exaggerated.
