RE: [microsound] Samples and Beets cds
I use the odd sample, mostly for instrument sounds I am unable to
acquire other ways.....that is I don't sample from other peoples
stuff...i use mostly royalty free stuff I find either on the web or from
some low cost thing like the computer music mags from the u.k. that
usually feature a sample cd or 2...all told I don't use 'em that much
.... in my most recent thing I use approx. 6 minutes worth of these sort
of samples out of a total running time of about 2 1/2 hours .... it
would be rather easy to put together some sort of 'tune' with these
things and all the software out there these days, sorta cut 'n paste
your way along ....

dangerous you don't want it.
