yeah, this list always cracks me up; everyone puts forth these super egalitarian views and and grumbles about the vast injustices of capitalism while going on about how great their very expensive apple computers are because they can run their very expensive max/msp programs with their un-cheap pluggo patches.

i guess i just expect people to be a little more aware of the silliness of this position. it's an odd sort of snobby holier than thou that doesn't seem to make a whole helluva lot of sense. if inequality is so nasty, why don't we just talk about free software all the time? put your programming where your mouth is
