Re: [microsound] re: madrid ?
Yannick, maybe the other way round. Maybe we can learn a lesson or two in citizen participation from the citizens of spain.
A basic idea of terrorism, bombs and such is to scare people so you can have your way. Killing a few hundred innocent people accomplish nothing by itself but if you can scare the rest ...
So I was very impressed by the pictures and stories from spain this weekend. 11 million people manifesting on the streets rather than sitting at home clinging to a gun, a quarter of the population. What a great people!!
On top of that they threw out their government this evening.
