Csound has great tutorials, but to my taste SC is inherently easier to
work with. You don't have to set up headers, .orc and .sco files, etc.,
just

{ SinOsc.ar(440) }.play;

gets you going.

But the lack of tutorials and examples is a big problem for newcomers.
