Re: [microsound] Net-Art vs electronic music
Why is there so much so-called net-art that might exist as an
inherently
not-interactive video-tape as well?
ever try and get a hold of one of those video tapes?
and isn't the web page a really different context than
a TV screen? Isn't taking away the interactivity of a web
page with a non-interactive piece part of the fun of it?
there's one net art site that changes with time of day,
no links, just various illustrations that only show at certain
times. Also I like being able to surf, e-mail, and watch
30 second loops or less in the background
like this one all the time:
