RE: [microsound] Re:yet more..... on working methods for live performance



I remember seeing kraftwerk in the mid 70's, the autobahn record was
just hitting the shelves in north America and they were on tour with
Sparks...somehow kraftwerk were headlining(Sparks were a very known
group at the time..) anyway after Sparks exited the stage it took
kraftwerk at least 45 minutes if not an hour to setup the gear, the
little neon name tags whatever....it was enjoyable for the group I was
with as we had little experience with analog synths and all that went
with it....mind you most of the audience split at about the 1/2 hour
mark....once he music started it was kinda nice to have seen how
everything (equipment wise) had gone together and was making the sounds
we were hearing............
