01. FIBLA REMIXED BY REC_OVERFLOW

Abrimos el programa de esta semana con una de las
remezclas del catalán Vincent Fibla editadas por
Spa.RK para un nuevo disco que recoge hasta 8
reconstrucciones de temas originales de Fibla
procedentes, no de sus álbumes, sino de cortes sueltos
incluidos en diversas recopilaciones. En la lista
internacional de remezcladores, Eedl, .Tape., Ola
Bergman, Stendec, Phluidbox, Braille, L'Usine y
Rec_Overflow, desde Madrid

One of the eight remixes of Vincent Fibla included in
his new album for Barcelona's Spa.RK label. The
original tracks are Fibla's contribution to several
compilations, and none of them is included in any of
his albums. Between the remixers, Eedl, .Tape., Ola
Bergman, Stendec, Phluidbox, Braille, L'Usine and
Rec_Overflow

Nos detenemos en la revista electrónica chilena
Loop.cl, una publicación de contenido experimental que
acaba de lanzar un recopilatorio gratuito descargable
desde su página que incluye a Pablo Reche, Kim
Cascone, Richard Chartier o el dúo español Coeval,
entre otros muchos artistas. Coeval, habituales de
nuestro programa, colaboran en este proyecto con este
corte, Vientos de Urdaneta 

Chilean electronic magazine Loop.cl is focused in
interesting experimental contents. They have just
released a free compilation of diverse experimental
music with Pablo Reche, Kim cascone, Richard Chartier
and the Spanish duo Coeval, between some other artists

Amsterdam, Heimir Björgulfsson -un estudioso de los

de Stilluppsteypa-. junto al artista sonoro
australiano Paul Gough, Pimmon, en un trabajo
comisionado por el festival holandés Earational

Collaboration between two Icelanders residing in
Amsterdam, Heimir Björgulfsson ?who studies natural
sounds and the effects of digital processing over
them- and Heigi Thorsson ?founder member of
Stilluppsteypa-, together with Australian sound artist
Paul Gough, Pimmon, in a work commisioned by
Earational festival in the Netherlands

colaboración entre el guitarrista experimental Bill
Wood, conocido por su proyecto 1/3 Octave Band, y Ben
Spiers, multiinstrumentista electroacústico
autodidacta, un disco titulado Dark Field que publica
desde las antípodas el sello de Campbell Kneale,
Celebrate PSI Phenomenon

Meeting between experimental guuitarrist Bill Wood,
known for his project 1/3 Octave band, and Ben Spiers,
self-taught electroacoustic multi-instrumentalist, for
a record titled Dark Field released by Campbell
Kneale?s imprint in New Zealand

05. DANIEL MENCHE

El artista sonoro norteamericano Daniel Menche con su
tercer trabajo de nuevo para el sello Antifrost, que
desde hace unos años opera desde Barcelona: Skadha, un
disco en la linea post-industrial intensa y vitalista
de los anteriores trabajos de Menche, pero
profundizando en una narración abstracta y ruidista

North-American sound artist Daniel Menche with his
third work for Antifrost, a Greek label operating from
Barcelona. Skadha is a record in the intense and
vitalist line of Menche?s previous works, deep into an
abstract and noisy narrative

06. ILLIOS REMIXED BY FRANCISCO LÓPEZ

Otra remezcla, en este caso de la mano de Francisco
López, uno de los encargados de dar vida a esta nueva
versión del tercer disco del griego Illios,
Encyclopedia, un trabajo originalmente editado en 1997
por el sello Antifrost, que también publica este álbum
de remezclas. Junto a Francisco López, Jazzkammer,
Leif Elggren, Coti, Marc Behrens, Anla Courtis o
Daniel menche, por nombrar sólo unos pocos

Another remix, in this case by Francisco Lopez, one of
the responsibles of giving birth to this new version
of Illios third work, Encyclopedia, a record
originally released in 1997 in the Antifrost label,
which also releases this remix album. Together with
Francisco Lopez, Jazzkammer, Leif Elggren, Coti, Marc
Behrens, Anla Courtis or Daniel Menche, to name just a
few 

07. MATS GUSTAFSSON / SONIC YOUTH WITH FRIENDS

Composición del saxofonista sueco Mats Gustafsson para
5 guitarras, electrónica, voces, caja de sonido y saxo
bajo: Hidros 3, una obra compuesta para la peculiar
disposición arquitectónica del museo de arte de la
ciudad sueca de Ystad, donde fue grabada hace 4 años
durante un festival de arte, con la presencia de los
neoyorkinos Sonic Youth y Loren Mazzacane Connors,
entre otros artistas 

Composition of Sweddish saxophonist Mats Gustafsson
for 5 guitars, electronics, voices, audiobox and bass
saxo, a work that was built for the peculiar
architectural layout of the art museum in the Sweddish
town of Ystad, where it was recorded 4 years ago
during an art festival, with the presence of the
Newyorkers Sonic Youth and Loren Mazzacane Connors,
between other artists

08. KAMMERFLIMMER KOLLEKTIEF

Sexteto alemán que publicó su último y más completo
trabajo -Cicadidae- el pasado 2003 en el sello
Staubgold, aunque este corte pertenece a su EP
Hysteria, editado dos años antes, en 2001, con
difusión limitada y re-editado hace unas semanas por
el sello berlinés Quecksilber junto a material inédito
del grupo

German sextet that released their last and thorough
work ?Cicadidae- last year 2003 in Staubgold, though
this track belongs to their Hysteria Ep, released two
years before with a very limited print and re-released
recently by Berlin label Quecksilber together with new
material from the group

09. AXEL DÖRNER, GREG KELLEY, ANDREA NEUMANN, BHOB
RAINEY

Colaboración entre los músicos berlineses Axel Dörner
y Andrea Neumann y los bostonianos Greg Kelley y Bhob
Rainey, una serie de improvisaciones grabadas durante
la visita de los primeros a los Estados Unidos a
finales del verano de 2001, con el nombre Thanks Cash.
Edita el sello Sedimental, un proyecto a gran escala
que también cuenta con emisora de radio y promotora de
eventos

Collaboration between two musicians from Berlin, Axel
Dörner and Andrea Neumann, and another two from
Boston, Greg Kelley and Bhob Rainey. Improvisations
recorded during the german?s visit to the United
States in the late summer of 2001. Released on
Sedimental Records, a large-scale project that also
counts with radio station and event promoter

10. TONY BUCK AND AXEL DÖRNER

Otro proyecto en el que también participa el
trompetista experimental Axel Dörner, en este caso
junto a un vecino de su bloque de pisos en Berlin, el
batería Tony Buck, a quien conocemos por su carrera
dentro del trío de improvisación The Necks. Comenzaron
a tocar junto hace un par de años y este es su primer
trabajo en cd, Durch und Durch, un disco que ve la luz
a través del sello de Tony Buck Tes Records

Another project in which the experimental trumpetist
Axel Dörner is involved, this time together with a
neighbour on his block in Berlin, drummer Tony Buck,
who formed part of the improvisation trio The Necks.
They began to play together two years ago and this is
finally their first cd release, in Buck?s Tes Records

Esta semana cerramos Onda Sonora con el nuevo álbum de
The Beans, el quinto de su carrera, una banda
canadiense que viene trabajando desde 1995 en un
contexto épico-instrumental que les acerca a muchos de
los grupos que componen el catálogo del sello
Constellation, con quienes colaboran habitualmente.
Sin embargo, ha sido Mitchell Akiyama  a través de su
compañía Intr_version -cada vez menos centrada en
sonidos electrónicos- quien publica este disco,
Bassplayer

New album by The Beans, the fifth in their career, a
canadian band working since 1995 in an
epic-instrumental context that brings them close to
the bands in the roster of the Constellation label,
whom with they often collaborate. However, it has been
Mitchell Akiyama through his Intr_version imprint
?every time less centered in fully electronic music-
that releases this record, Bassplayer
