No, it doesn't, any more than the error correction in your modem makes
this message thinner, or backing up an application to CD-ROM makes it
blurrier. Data is data (again, assuming no E32 [uncorrectable]
errors--but those are no more likely on CD-Rs than on pressed CDs).
Jitter, as I said, is a different story. If you're hearing problems
with your CD-Rs, burn them slower.
