[microsound] Re: more SPAM poetry

Linguist Anne Smith has begun a list for posting and saving spam-based poetry:

http://groups.yahoo.com/group/spoetrycollectors

<<We gather spam messages that resemble poems (called spoetry: spoems, spechoes, and sprose included). We are also share information about the creation of these messages by computer programs, and in imitations written by humans. >>

Members of the list are setting up the first spoetry reading, which will be held in mid November (probably at 21 Grand, in Oakland, California). I'm also pushing for live music/processing...

talking about a kind of automatic poetry, the use of automatic
translator engines is also interesting (and funny) with some Oulipo
effect...
an example for italian speaking people is the "sosty" project at the
http://www.otolab.net/projects/orgone/index.htm page
the texts are derived from the automatic translations of english porn
captions (at least I think the material is coming from that...)
