What I intended to express with my first mail in this thread is, that
some artists (the "Processors") are interested in exploring and
expressing how a process works, what processes there are etc. 

So to answer the wheel question: If you deal not with wheels, but with
the process of how the wheel was invented, it can be fruitful to
(re)invent the wheel, yes. Of course if you want to get from A to B,
there's nothing wrong with using an existing wheel.
