Yep, Digital Performer. There is a Drum Editor that I friggin LOVE  
for exactly this reason.

However, it's a generalized MIDI pattern editor, really. You still  
need the proper sampler and/or synthesizer to provide the sounds  
themselves. Something like Attack is a good plugin for this.
