Re: [microsound] m-audio microtrack or?



For robust sounds like voice, music and loud 
effects (like the transom, radio perspective) and 
if one has phantom mics, its hard to beat a 
Microtrack for price and features.  For quiet 
locations and ambience where high gain and a low 
noise pre plays large role, the below test I did 
suggests one would might do better with HiMD. The 
MT's 1/8" mic in has even lower low sensitivity, 
I didn't include this input in the test. Rob D.
