I have a friend and collaborator who uss the microtrack...pretty good little
unit, though the proprietary, non-replaceable battery makes me nuts. We were
doing a lot of cold-weather recording a few weeks ago, and, as you probably
know, cold = low battery life. Anyway...when his battery would run out, he
was done for the day, whereas I could just pop a fresh AA into the minidisc
and keep going. May not be a concern for many, but in my case it is.
