i second that...

some people complain that Live makes everything sound like "german 
techno"... which is hogwash. it's a full featured production 
environment, suitable for expressive live performance and intricate 
studio composition work alike, with no inherent predisposition to any 
particular style of music/audio art.

if the tool is the message then the message is elegant and playful.
