l'italia è il paese dei mandolini...altro che microsound. ;-)

italy has a rock and song-writing tradition, electronic music has always been a marginal niche. lately something is changing, there are more festivals for electronic arts & music, and a little more interest around the new digital arts (music included).
at the same time media are always wary of electronic music, it's often judged, even by the most important journalists (those responsible for creating "taste" in media) an inferior genre, an artificial and cold music.
