Re: [microsound] Post-digital photography
Hi Joseph,
It looks like digital cameras are good at recording halos , light
apparitions and so forth. I read that there were many more ufo
sightings documented once digital cameras became popular than
previously.
it is also quite possible that Angels shy away from film , having
learned from the Indians that it steals your soul. it is also possible
that the digital images have less depth (since film has thickness) and
that the least expensive models (webcams etc. ) are infinitely superior
to the most lavish press cameras for this very reason . There is also
the possibility that a person might attract more angelic beings in a
close enough proximity to be photagraphed if one isn't carrying around
heavy camera gear , nervously polishing the lenses , looking lecherous
while smelling of developer and fixative....
(I'm babbling)

I'm interested in the idea that the post-digital aesthetic that is
often discussed with relation to music also exists in digital
photography. I.e. there are approaches to digital photography that
question its techniques, claims, technology, etc.
