I have but since you have now made this statement "Marxist analysis is
one of many critical frameworks that can be applied to cultural
discussions...and happens to be one which determines how I 'receive'
art and music...".

I guess I am wondering what has changed and can you humor me with a
personal explaination of how that works?

Simply based on what's in my inbox since I joined the list.. I haven't
had time to read the archives dating back to 1999. But I did read
several interviews with your fine self and noticed the absence of any
mention of Marx or Socialism but a few mentions of Deleuze.

The main thing I am reacting to is the afore mentioned self
righteousness on your part.

Regardless as of late it would appear you have taken it upon yourself
to champion this particular philosophy. I guess that's unavoidable
because as you have more less said you have chosen marx as the rose
colored lenses you see art and music through.

But does he travel more lightly than Deleuze or simply more lightly
than he does here?

In either case does this somehow justify your brow beating?

Peace
