i used soundtracker and later octamed on amiga back in the good
old days.
it's really cool to see all tracks / notes / events at the same time and
it's possible to edit the "score" very easily just with the keyboard.
for certain things trackers are so much faster if you know what you want.
when i started using cubase i've found it incredibly stupid to have to
drag around stuff with the mouse just to achieve the simplest tasks.
i would love to see a tracker-editor integrated into some sequencer
like ableton live.
