In my opinion it's not about the creative advantage you might have  
with a tracker, but what you are used to.
Though I think you can only do the ridiculously fast multi-layered  
snare rolls like Venetian Snares with a tracker.

I use Renoise since the first version and I am still very pleased  
with it.
