Haha, this is a ridiculous large system though.

I know what you mean, I can do the same thing with my Korg MS2000, it  
has the same kind of oldschool sequencer as the 960 module from Moog  
(except for the skip/normal/stop modes)
and in combination with the arpeggiator I can edit the arpeggiated  
sequence using the 'forward/reverse/alt1/alt2' modes from the  
sequencer and by changing the chords.

The way I discovered in Renoise works much better by the way..
