For example, I tend to delete freely downloaded albums after just one
listen. Sometimes even before one listen, in the case of NIN, to tell
the truth. There's no attechment, no motivation if the first listen is
not rewarding.

Of course that can be said about "illegal" downloads. But it would be
strange to imagine a world where every music is "free" so you don't
buy anything, not attached to anything that much - maybe first listen
impressions would have a greater role there. As opposed to this world,
where you download a lot of music, buy much more less, but pay more
attention to the latter. (In my case at least.)
