Re: [microsound] microsound kiosk - NYC sound.art?

I'm also curious if anyone has read the following two texts & would like to
post feedback:
Sounding Off! Music as Subversion/Resistance/Revolution
- Autonomedia 1995 - Ed. Ron Sakolsky and Fred Wei-han Ho

I have this book though I can't say I've read the whole thing. A lot of the essays are quite interesting but the collection is a bit all over the place. The editors' take on "subversive" or "revolutionary" music is pretty literal, focusing a lot on 3rd world politics and only covering technology from the Negativland/Pluderphonics angle. Personally, I would be interested in a more philisophical approach to the question of what is "subversive" music but there are enough good essays to make it worth having around.
Anyway, thanks for prompting me to dig it out and take another look.
