Hi,

I am going to develop a Web-based interactive sound art system allowing 
composers/players to incorporate aesthetic approaches from electronic 
music, net.art, sonic art and soundscapes.

not really an expert on that field, but i thought you might find this interesting

john ffitch has build an online version of csound - "net-csound", at below link

it does need quite some knowledge of csound though and the page doesn't tell very much,
but maybe mr. ffitch can help you with information about server- etc.issues.
