robert i have only recently been using the 410 with midi, so it's too soon to give an informed response to that question. i'll know this weekend, because i am going to be working in my studio for a big chunk of time.
sergi - i also have a us428, and i will be working with it this weekend as well. i'll let you know if i turn up any issues...

i'm also using the motu 828 mkII, which is great. good sound quality, midi support. the only reason i'm shopping around is the size&weight of it.
