What about the Mayor and Govenor of N.O.?  Why are they not held  
responsible for any of this.  Disaster planning is on a state level,  
meaning the responsibility is on the local level, what they cannot  
handle is federal.  Sure greedy ass Bush/Clinton/old bush denied N.O.  
money for the levies but what about a system to put in place for the  
poor/disabled/elderly people?  Busing a few days BEFORE the storms  
landfall.  Every meteorlogical expert stated days before the carnage  
that this storm would absolutey devastate the area and easily eclipse  
Andrew the Hurricaine that devasted Homestead.  Took a long time to  
help those whites in Miami after andrew, over three weeks.  Instead the  
good mayor as well as the govenor waited until the day before.  Wow.   
How brilliant!  They did set up a busing system after the fact, but its  
kind of hard to drive a bus through a neighborhood when the water level  
is, oh about 12 ft.

People should be asking themselves how a two party democratic system  
like ours(only one in the world) can be expected to function with any  
sort of efficiency.  I see no difference between the Dems and the REPs.  
 On average the polarity of these parties changes every 60-80 years.   
what does that tell you?  Do they really keep each other in check, or  
just hold hands and argue over ideologies knowing that each party will  
always get its turn up to bat.  To me its irrelevant who is in office  
the government wastes you tax dollars at an astronomical rate.   Im  
sick of voting for the lesser of two evils.

Yeah i voted for John Kerry who i think is just a big an idiot as Bush  
and has ten times the money bush has.  The both have no inkling how you  
or me live, the common Joe/Joann.  Both West Point grads, (Or whatever  
posh ivy league school they both attended)  And they both had subpar  
scholastic records(Kerry actually doing worse, maybe Bush was better at  
cheating).  Wow what a great choice.
