May I ask what exactly you need to accomplish by this? It seems that maybe you've worked yourself into a box. Is it possible to use something like MIDI, OSC, SSH or even VNC/remote desktop to control the two machines (one directly, one remotely)? Then you would set up something more like a host/client relationship. But it depends on what your end result should be. There was just a big thread on the PD list about forwarding keystrokes, and it was determined that PD was not the tool to do it exactly that way, but that you might be able to accomplish the same result in a totally different manner than using actual keystrokes. Fill us in and maybe we can help.
