the process of alienation is bound also to the process
of adaptation--i never found laptop music as
alienating as djs spinning other peoples slabs--the
idea that a music is coming that we dont know anything
about untill we hear it is the most exciting
thing---live coding sounds okay for the sense of
involvement of the player--i tend to have faith that
mental acts of high concentration are also physical
acts of high concentration are also the electrical
charge that goes into the atmosphere creating tension
and excitement---this is what people pick up on--it is
drama--
