Re: [microsound] Getting started

Yeah PD is great. So is Max, its just that i have been using Reaktor the longest and am most comfortable with it. I use a mind numbing amount of different software at work so in regards to learning new apps the right way, im just too burnt out and time constrained to learn all the great stuff out there. In a perfect world i would not have to worry about paying the man his due(bills) and could get and learn all the software out there.

Oh well back to work

of course, these issues are mute with open source software [pd].

i have never used Reaktor, but i can say the pd list is full of people
who can help you [prolly very similar to the reaktor list]. even the
main author of the software [miller] answers questions de temps en
temps ...

like others have said- you can do a ton of stuff with pd [and even
expand it if you are so inclined].
