[microsound] cog as an alternative to itunes?
hi microsounders,
i haven't posted on here in years, and i'm afraid my question won't be terribly microsoundish; apologies in advance.
to those who were talking about COG, that's potentially music to my ears. i've had to move all my music to an external hard drive, as my laptop filled up ages ago (professional hazard, i suppose), and itunes does a really terrible job with finding music that's stored on externals. half the time it tells me the song in question can't be found, even when i haven't moved anything or changed any folder names. does anyone who's used COG know if it handles that better than itunes? in itunes it seems to be a problem of itunes' complicated folder structures, but i'm not 100% sure.
offlist is fine.
thanks,
philip
