what wrong with writing music in your bedroom? its a relaxing environment.
easy to use software just makes things more interesting.. the people who spent
months working to get sounds or techniques that are now easy to obtain with
software will still spend months working towards new techniques that
conventional out-of-box software doesn't allow.. its progress.. technologically
driven.. possibilities are so rapidly expanding these days..

i like the fact most people who listen to experimental music have a deeper
understanding and thus appreciation.. eventually experimental techniques
propogate into more generally accepted music and push the boundaries of average
understanding..

and start putting them on the web for free download and playing interactive live
shows. (ideally!) i spend more on live shows then i do cds anyway.

or hearing it live, which is a better experience imho.
