i happen to be one of those who simply likes music for the sake of music and do not get into the the intellectualism side of it overall.


i also do not subscribe to the nobel=unquestionablity right either. that said, this was a topic recently among some other economic forums (with people such as tyler cowen, brad de long, etc) and no one seem to dispute that in fact people do spend much less time working than in time past (with minor ebbs and flows within the greater trend.) the bigger question for most is what is the expected threshold that is sustainable.
