I love to listen to and I love to make music that is made without the aid of sequencing devices, or at least with sequencing devices used as texture creators, rather than as rigid development-over-time parameters.

The best microsound-y music happens when you set up enough equipment that you don't fully understand what's going on, fiddle knobs until it sounds awesome, then hit record.
