You certainly don't need to be a "fanboy" to realize Stockhausen's stature
in contemporary music culture. Like it or not he was a giant, and that is
the "hard cold fact".
I just wish that in the hour of the man's passing we would be talking about
his work and contribution, not about what he might have said once, or if he
was a nice
guy with a bad temper. That's just gossip as far as I'm concerned..
